Virginia GOP gubernatorial nominee, Bob McDonnell, says none of his three potential Democratic foes are current Sen. Mark Warner (in a metaphoric sense, of course):
"If you see how quickly they're moving to the left, this is not the same type of candidate that ran in 2001 [Mark Warner].... he [DNC chair Tim Kaine] is the chief partisan now in the country for the Democrats. So he will be the voice of Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid and Barack Obama. That's not exactly Mark Warner's platform."
