Utah voters prefer Mitt Romney over Utah Gov. Jon Huntsman 55%-32% in a hypothetical 2012 matchup.
Mitt would also beat Obama, 67%-27%, while Huntsman would beat him 58-25%.
Tod Weiler, vice-chair of the Utah Republican party, explained thusly:
"Well, I think Romney has run a national campaign, so people are more comfortable seeing him as a Republican presidential candidate."
