Comment of the night

A user comment from Huffington Post, re: Wanda Sykes.

Colbert did his jokes to the face of the most powerful man in the world, where she went after a couple loser nutcases with a tiny base of support who weren't even in the room.

Comedy shouldn't be safe. She was safe. Some of her jokes weren't, but the people who'd be offended by them weren't in the room.

And aren't roasts different from encomiums?
