In news bound to please libertarian-minded folks of all political stripes, Bobby Jindal's supporting a bill that would let any Louisianan over 21 ride a motorcycle without a helmet.
"I recommend that people wear a helmet. If I rode a motorcycle, I would wear a helmet. But I believe people, adults, have a right to make the choice themselves.
People who ride motorcycles tell me there's something intrinsic to feel the wind in their hair."
He further noted that the state allows people to engage in other risky business like bungee jumping and hand gliding.
"I don't think it's the state's role to tell them they can't do that."
Now... about that war on drugs thing...
