A Who's Who of evangelical Christian leaders is teaming up to write a letter, which will be hand-delivered to every member of the U.S. Senate, and focus on defeating Hate-Crimes legislation.
The group claims the legislation will be a "savage and perhaps fatal blow to First Amendment freedom of expression", and SC Sen. Jim DeMint's already promised a filibuster.
Among those signing the letter: Tony Perkins, James Dobson, Tom Delay, Phyllis Schlafly, Gary Baur, Don Wildmon.
