It looks like that bloodbath for Missouri's GOP nomination has one fewer dog, as potential candidate and former U.S. Ambassador, Thomas Schweich, gets behind Rep Roy Blunt, a candidate he attacked as recently as March.
I'm also hearing that Blunt's other, possible primary foe, Sarah Steelman, is unlikely to run for Senate and may run for Blunt's House seat, instead.
If she does bow out, the GOP avoids what would have been a tough primary, and can focus its efforts on Democrat Robin Carnahan.
