The wrath of some Palinites has been unleashed on conservative blogger, Ed Morrissey, who's been as staunch a defender of Palin as anyone not named John Ziegler in the past.
On Friday, Morrissey confessed confusion at Palin's resignation, and committed the high crime of posting this video, which, in effect, amounted to a hap-tip to Crooks and Liars.
The comment board at Hot Air lit up, and apparently was ready to set Morrissey on fire for using a video from the site, prompting him to write a reply.
As for using the clip from C&L, er, so what? This segment is from CNN. I couldn’t find it on YouTube or on CNN’s site when I had a few minutes to post. Someone asked me if I would be fair and post Matalin’s defense after our criticism of Palin, and I posted what I could find of it.
If you're given no quarter on a hat-tip, God help you on a substantive disagreement.
