Only half of U.S. governors plan on showing up at this weekend's National Governors Association meeting, and Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal isn't part of that half.

Jindal spokesman Kyle Plotkin says the Louisiana governor won't make the NGA meeting because Jindal has events in his own state to attend, including stops in his statewide tour touting economic development.
