In 2008, Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal pushed through a tough set of financial disclosure laws, and just last week, the Center of Public Integrity ranked Louisiana 1st in the nation for transparency (up from #44 in 2006).
Cause for applause, right?
Well, apparently, being at the top has some lawmakers feeling really low.
The Louisiana state House recently passed a bill removing some of those guidelines, because they feel it's keeping people from getting involved in local government.
Bobby Jindal just vetoed the legislation.
