Rasmussen poll: 2012 tie

Rasmussen releases a new poll, showing the 2012 front-runners in a virtual tie for the Presidential nomination.

Among GOP voters:

1. Mitt Romney 25%

2. Sarah Palin 24%

3. Mike Huckabee 22%

4. Newt Gingrich 14%

5. Some other candidate 6%

6. Tim Pawlenty 1%

7. Haley Barbour 1%

Notes: There's some good and bad news for Palin in the poll. The good: she still has the highest favorables among Republicans (though by only +3% over Romney). The bad: Palin ties with Haley Barbour as the candidate Republicans would least like to nominate.
