Yesterday, Mississippi Gov. Haley Barbour entered the climate fray, front and center, taking the role of key GOP witness in Senate hearings on the subject.
The New York Times says the party's still looking for its go-to-guy on the issue, and Barbour might be the one to pass the ball to. But his critics say close ties to large energy interests in the past make him a flawed messenger.
