The AP says Dick Cheney's going to endorse and campaign with Kay Bailey Hutchison at a fundraiser next month.
Considering Cheney's cred with conservatives, this is a big get for Hutchison, although not entirely surprising.

Allies of George W. Bush are gravitating to the senator's side. Former White House counselor Karen Hughes gave $500 to Hutchison.
Bush adviser Karl Rove is informally advising Hutchison.
Erstwhile interim U.S. Attorney Tim Griffin, Bush-Cheney '04 fundraiser Jeanne Johnson Phillips and Rove's old direct-mail firm, now headed by Todd Olsen, are all on the Hutchison campaign payroll.
