Considering he hasn't even been elected Governor of Virginia, speculation that Republican, Bob McDonnell, might run for President in 2012 seems wildly inappropriate.

Ryan Nobles: Were you to win on November 3rd, you would almost automatically become a prime candidate for the GOP nomination for President.
Will you make a commitment right now that you were you to win on November 3rd that you will stay for your entire four year term and not run for President in 2012?
Bob McDonnell: Absolutely, I think those are all pipe dreams down the road. You know there is a number of national political pundits that are paying an exceptional amount of attention to Virginia this year, but I'm running to be Governor of Virginia.... I'm fully committed to four years as Virginia’s governor.
