In an interview with David Brody, Newt Gingrich invokes Richard Nixon in attacking Barack Obama's credibility.
NEWT: .... to try to take anything he says as though it has meaning, I think, is very dangerous because the only thing you can count on -- even worse than the Nixon administration -- this is an administration where you better look at what they do; not at what they say, because there’s no relationship between the two.
BRODY: Well, let me ask you or maybe its semantics. Is he misleading or is he straight out lying on a lot of this stuff?
NEWT: I think he’s saying whatever he thinks he has to say to get through the next interview. I don’t think it has any relationship to what they are doing.
