Dick Cheney was in Houston last night to endorse Kay Bailey Hutchison over Rick Perry in Texas' acrimonious GOP primary.
In doing so, he quoted Rick Perry before Hutchison decided she'd run against him (the irony isn't lost on the audience, which chuckles).
"It's no wonder her opponent called her a true champion for Texas. I couldn't agree more."
