Christie wins

Big, big win. What's impressive is that he wasn't nearly the candidate McDonnell was, and won in a much harsher environment.

There won't be a 2012 Christie thread starting, though.

That's another impressive thing about the win -- he'll pick up zero 2012 buzz from winning a true-blue state.

Hey, you might have taken Minnesota, but I took New Jersey, he could say to T-Paw in a debate, and it still wouldn't really help him.

In essence -- this win wasn't much about Chris Christie. And that's good news for the GOP.
