The DNC fears... Pawlenty?

Newsweek's Andrew Romano uses DNC press releases as a metric for divining Democratic worry over potential 2012 opponents.

He notes that Tim Pawlenty has received more direct mail attacks from Dems since March than any other prospects (including Palin).

The Palin stat surprised me, but I tend to think the attacks don't measure fear, so much as political activity.

Since Pawlenty's been the most ubiquitous 2012 candidate lately, he warrants the immediate response.

But it's still a good measure of how aggressive and active the '12ers are, and fits nicely with today's news.
