On Monday night, David Plouffe sat down with Greta Van Susteren for nearly 30 minutes to chat about the 2008 campaign.
Most of what he has to say is a familiar story by now, but it's interesting to see Palin-friend, Greta, chatting amiably with him, and even when she does bring up Palin's relationship with the media, it's pretty quiet.
Comes at about 16:30 in.
VAN SUSTEREN: Do you think that Governor Palin got treated fairly by the press? Not whether you agree with her. Whether she got treated fairly?
PLOUFFE: I think things like the focus on the family was probably, as Barack Obama said, not appropriate. You know, I think generally this is one of the tough things about a Presidential process.
I mean, you get thrown into the meat grinder right away, and you've got to really execute and thrive in a very, very tough obstacle course.
End of topic.
