In Sarah Palin's new Facebook post, she gives a bunch of book tour dates, and includes this little comment.
I’ve decided to stop in cities that are not usually included in a typical book tour.
Has she decided or has her publisher?
Like any good politician or celebrity, so much of what Palin says is designed to feed into her mystique (Witness her strange speculation on the migration of the motto "In God we trust" last weekend, which is bound to go viral among a certain set in the same way Proctor & Gamble was once considered Satanic).
Quite possibly, Palin did tell the publisher exactly where she wanted to go, and they deferred.
More likely, they huddled and decided what Palin country was. Perfectly good marketing, but again, just an example of how actively and carefully she's cultivating her brand.
