Chris Cillizza reports that Colorado's 33 year-old gubernatorial candidate, Josh Penry, is dropping his bid.
Where that story intersects with this site is Penry's praise for Bobby Jindal and slight dig at Sarah Palin in a September 24 profile by the Christian Science Monitor.
“Now I like Sarah Palin, personally. I like her fire and her tenacity. [But] she didn’t close the deal by having command of where we’re going…. Bobby Jindal, on the other hand, has done that."
Who knows how that would have played in a primary.
