Palin laments Gibson and Couric's disinterest in substance

According to Sarah Palin's new book, Going Rogue, Charlie Gibson and Katie Couric didn't want to have a serious discussion of the issues.

The AP:

She writes that ABC newsman Charles Gibson, who had an early interview with her, seemed bored by "substantive issues" stemming from her time as governor.

.... She alleges that Couric and CBS left out her more "substantive" remarks and settled for "gotcha" moments. She writes that Couric had a "partisan agenda" and a condescending manner.

Obviously, in Going Rogue, Palin isn't following Dennis Miller's advice, circa October 1.

She should come out somewhere in the book, talk about the Katie Couric thing and say: "I blew it" and say "I panicked, I flipped out.

If you think that's enough of a reason to weed me out at a run for the Presidency for all of time, so be it, but I want to tell you, I'm not hiding about it.

It hit the fan for me quickly. All of a sudden, I was the center of the media universe. She asked me a question, I gacked. Enough said, you make up your mind from here on out."

If she does that, I think she could get back in the game.
