Sanford separates impeachment from Boeing

The Independent Mail:

Gov. Mark Sanford said today that the announcement of The Boeing Co.’s plan to expand in South Carolina “is irrelevant” to legislative efforts to impeach him.

.... “What it does for my job prospects is much less relevant than what is does for thousands of South Carolina job prospects,” he said.

On Friday, Sanford was also asked if Boeing's decision to build a much-coveted assembly line in South Carolina has changed the political landscape.

"Some would argue that. I won't argue anything. I will simply say it was what it was, which was a good news day for South Carolina."
