Al Hunt has a pretty provocative interview with Jim DeMint, in which the South Carolina Senator chafes at the idea of a gay President.
"It would be bothersome to me just personally because I consider it immoral.”
Flashbacks to DeMint's 2004 suggestion that gays be banned from teaching in South Carolina public schools.
If you split hairs, this is different (one is discomfort; the other is prohibition) but politically-speaking, it shows what a tough sell DeMint would be at the top or bottom of a ticket.
