SC Sen Jim DeMint tells CBN that the Republican resurgence (see CNN's new poll) is based primarily on the Democrats' failure, and that the dynamic must change if the party is to have long-term success.
"These polls should tell Republicans something. That our rise in the polls has very little to do with what we're doing, and a lot just back-lash against the overreach of the Democrat party.
If we're going to win next year and restore that faith, I do think we need a new Republican party made up of people who really stand for those things we say we believe in."
