SD Sen. John Thune talks to The Hill about a measure that would force the POTUS, VP, cabinet, staff and members of Congress and their staff to join a public plan health insurance plan similar to the one Democrats are proposing.
"If you're gonna put the American people in that kind of a purgatory, then you've got to make sure that members of Congress feel the same sort of pain.
If there's going to be some sort of government-run public option that's forced upon the American people, then their elected officials ought to be under the same rules."
