"All other concerns with the health care reform legislation aside, I will accept nothing less than the language added by Congressman Stupak to prevent federal funding of abortions.
Regardless of personal opinions on abortion rights, I think most Americans do not believe that their tax dollars should pay for abortions or subsidize health care that pays for abortions. We have a history in this country of not using taxpayer funds to pay for abortion services and we should continue to pursue that policy in any legislation."
