After noting that John McCain sent a recent fundraising pitch for SC gubernatorial candidate, Henry McMaster, Reid Wilson takes inventory on major GOP figures who've weighed in on the race.
Ex-Sen. Rick Santorum (R-PA) recently traveled to SC to hold a fundraiser for Rep. Gresham Barrett (R), another leading contender. Rep. Mike Pence (R-IN) is backing Barrett, while ex-UT Gov. Jon Huntsman (R) endorsed McMaster before he was appointed ambassador to China.
Huckabee has endorsed LG Andre Bauer (R) in the primary.
