Romney unveils six new endorsements

Chris Cillizza says Mitt Romney has endorsed six candidates in Missouri, and will continue to endorse candidates state-by-state over the coming months.

.... [In Missouri], Romney endorsed four sitting members of Congress: Reps. Jo Ann Emerson, Blaine Luetkemeyer and Sam Graves, as well as Rep. Roy Blunt who is running for the state's open Senate seat. Endorsements also went to Ed Martin, who is challenging Rep. Russ Carnahan (D), and Tom Schweich, a candidate for state auditor.

Romney cut checks to Emerson, Luetkemeyer, Graves and Martin via his Free and Strong America PAC and will be in St. Louis on April 27 to raise money for Schweich.

Meanwhile, Reid Wilson reports that the Southern Republican Leadership Conference is still hopeful it can snag an appearance by Romney, though it's not terribly likely.
