Rubio 60% Crist 28%

Public Policy Polling shows Marco Rubio with a 32% lead over Charlie Crist.

Crist's numbers with Republicans are terrible. 56% want to see him out of elected office, and 56% disapprove of his performance as governor.

Among conservatives, Crist's approval and Rubio's favorability numbers are nearly the inverse, with Crist at 20%/64% and Rubio at 60%/14%. That naturally leads to a big Rubio advantage among cons, 71%/17%.

Pollster Tom Jensen:

Our general election Senate numbers, which we'll release tomorrow, find that Crist is a good deal more popular with Democrats now than he is with Republicans. His path to any future electoral victory may come as an independent or perhaps even as a Democrat.
