No Bush-bashing in TX

Jason Embry says Barack Obama isn't likely to punch his favorite punching bag in said punching-bag's home state today.

In the UT speech, don’t expect Obama to spend much time talking about Perry or former President George W. Bush, White House officials said Sunday.

Obama will use that speech to stress that the United States needs to boost its college-completion rate. He wants to lift the rate of 25- to 34-year-olds with two- or four-year degrees to the highest in the world by 2020.

Meanwhile, Republicans are planning a protest against the POTUS later in the day on the capitol steps.

Americans for Prosperity is encouraging participants to download and wear disguises to mock Democratic gubernatorial nominee Bill White’s reluctance to appear with Obama.
