WDBO in Central Florida reports on Dick Morris' trip to Florida this weekend -- one showing just how frayed nerves still are from Florida's completed Republican gubernatorial primary.
On the same day that former presidential candidate Mitt Romney joined Rick Scott to stump in The Villages, conservative political strategist and author Dick Morris had this to say at a Republican event in Orlando.
"I think Rick Scott is a criminal who belongs in jail not in the governor's office."
Morris went on to say that he'd vote for the Democrat Alex Sink.
"She's a terrible candidate... her opponent is a criminal," he said.
This is a rare example of Morris not stepping up to bat for a GOP candidate this fall, but he's never been a big fan.
In a July interview with Newsmax.
"The only way that this guy is qualified to be governor is that he's very experienced -- he stole from the taxpayers once, so he's really experienced, and he'll steal from them again."
