Newt Gingrich, when asked by The View today whether Sarah Palin is qualified to be President.
"She's as much Presidential material as Biden is."
Very cagey response.
On one hand, he sticks it to Democrats by slamming the Veep; on the other hand, he doesn't give Palin too much credit in case they should be primary foes, and he wants to run against her on experience.
Watch the whole vid, though. At first, it sounds like Newt is mocking her by talking about Rudy's comments and the monetary policy thing, but then you find out he was just praising her.
