Ron Paul slams Trump for doubting electability

On CNN today, Ron Paul reacted to Donald Trump's claim at CPAC that the Texas represenative couldn't be elected president.

"That makes me think about back when the times I first ran, because everybody knows my positions have been exactly the same [since] 30 years ago when I first ran for office.

I run in a very conservative, Bible-belt district, and I challenged everything George Bush did, practically.

And people say 'You can't win with that. You're too much of a strict constitutionalist. You want such little government. You actually want to balance the budget. You can't win. It just won't work.'

So I've won eleven times, so I don't know whether he has earned the right to criticize somebody for not winning an election when I don't know how many elections he's won so far himself."

Trump's comments at CPAC that prompted Paul's reply.

"By the way, Ron Paul cannot get elected, I'm sorry to tell you."
