Report: Bachmann hires Ed Rollins

CBS reports that Michele Bachmann has picked Ed Rollins to run her presidential campaign.

Rollins ran Mike Huckabee's 2008 campaign, as well as Ronald Reagan's 1984 reelection bid.

Rollins will run a campaign that already has a number of experienced advisors on board, including Brett O'Donnell, who advised George W. Bush and John McCain and is considered the best debate coach in politics.

UPDATE:
The Hill's Mike O'Brien has more...

[Rollins] said that he was working with Bachmann to explore her presidential campaign.

He wouldn't say, though, whether he would serve as campaign manager if Bachmann does end up following through with her campaign, but he didn't rule out that possibility.

"It's totally premature to say I'm running it or not running it," he said.

But Rollins said it would be fair to say that he would be involved with the campaign if Bachmann, the Tea Party darling, does take the plunge and enter the race.
