Reuters reports that the pro-Sarah Palin documentary, "The Undefeated", suffered a big blow at the weekend box office.
Despite increasing its play dates by 40%, ticket sales were down 63% compared with last weekend's take.
And in a sign that the distributor, Arc Entertainment, doesn't think it's likely to rebound, the film will be available on pay-per-view, September 1.
The film was always going to be a tough sell outside of Palin's base, but I had no idea it would be this tough even in ostensible Palin country.
The weekend marked the doc's expansion into additional markets like Milwaukee, Charlotte, and Tuscon, Arizona after opening in a select, few cities.
