He sort of said that to John Heilemann:
“She makes for good copy—and good photography.”
Note to Pawlenty and now Huntsman, who've both tried to dismiss Bachmann by diminishing her (here and here): she's not easily diminishable.
Yesterday, Kirsten Powers told me that Bachmann is "energetic, incredibly stable, and very clear-headed" in their conversations, and I'll have more on that tomorrow. But for today -- and the many ahead -- her opponents will find it much more difficult to Bork her than they did Palin, simply because Palin offered so much material.
