Some remarkable numbers from a new Fox News poll -- there isn't a bloc out there that wants Sarah Palin to run for president.
Even among her natural base, tea partiers, just 28% want her to run for president, while 66% say she shouldn't.
Here's the surprising set of numbers among key blocs.
a. Do you think Sarah Palin should run for president in 2012 or not? (Republicans).
YES = 25%
NO = 71%
b. Do you think Sarah Palin should run for president in 2012 or not? (Tea Party supporters).
YES = 28%
NO = 66%
c. Do you think Sarah Palin should run for president in 2012 or not? (Conservatives).
YES = 21%
NO = 72%
Now, the big question is: will these numbers scare off Palin from running?
I doubt it. In fact, from what we've seen, she's probably more likely to run after seeing numbers like these. That's because she hates being marginalized, under-appreciated, or dismissed. Politics is personal, but with her, it's extra personal -- that's one of the reasons why she reacts so vociferously to the slightest criticism (witness her responses to Karl Rove and Charles Krauthammer's gentle nudging).
