As soon as you see Al Gore's face pop up in Ron Paul's new web ad, you know that Rick Perry's can't be far behind, since Perry was the Texas campaign chairman for Gore's 1988 run.
"After Reagan, Senator Al Gore ran for president, pledging to raise taxes and increase spending, pushing his liberal values."
And Al Gore found a cheerleader in Texas named Rick Perry.
Rick Perry helped lead Al Gore's campaign to undo the Reagan Revolution, fighting to elect Al Gore president of the United States.
Now America must decide who to trust -- Al Gore's Texas cheerleader or the one who stood with Reagan."
Small note about the script. The ad violates a general rule of writing -- that you don't write a person's full name five straights times. Unless, that is, you're running an attack ad, trying to link your foe with that person.
The ad is reportedly a six-figure buy.
