Ed Rollins, who resigned as Michele Bachmann's campaign manager in September, took some shots at her on Fox News today.
ROLLINS: Bachmann had the best organization up until 6-8 weeks ago, and I don't know what's there, I haven't been there since.
SHEP SMITH: Why'd you leave her? It was a mess, wasn't it?
ROLLINS: I'm an old man.
SHEP SMITH: It was a mess, wasn't it?
ROLLINS: It was a mess.
SHEP: It wasn't going to work, was it?
ROLLINS: I didn't think it was going to work, and I didn't want to spend six months in Iowa, basically, at my age.
SHEP: How'd she react?
ROLLINS: She was fine. She basically understood. We've had a nice relationship since.
I'm guessing Rollins was joking when he said they've had a "nice relationship" since he left the campaign.
The two have publicly feuded over the past, few months.
