Romney dominating Gingrich over the Florida airwaves

Michael Falcone reports that Mitt Romney's campaign and the Super PAC supporting him have bought $13.7 million of ad time in Florida, while Newt Gingrich and his Super PAC have plunked down about $4 million.

In related news, here's Newt's new ad, based on last night's debate.

It's led off by a clip of Huck attacking Romney in 2008, and I wouldn't be too surprised to see Huck issue some sort of statement making it clear that he's not endorsing either Newt or the ad.

UPDATE: Bingo! Huck just released a statement on the spot.

Any use of an out of context quote from the Republican Presidential primary 4 years ago in a political ad to advocate for the election or defeat of another candidate is not authorized, approved, or known in advance by me. I have made it clear that I have not and do not anticipate making an endorsement in the GOP primary, but will support the nominee. My hope is to defeat Barack Obama and win majorities in both the House and Senate, not to attack any of the Presidential candidates who might be our nominee.
