Romney Super PAC ad treads familiar (and false) ground

The pro-Romney Super PAC, Restore our Future, has released a new attack ad against Newt Gingrich in South Carolina and Florida.

It hits Newt over ethics, his Freddie work, taxpayer funding for abortion, and China's one-child policy.

The substance of most the attacks is identical to one the Super PAC ran in December.

The December ad, infamously, got the dreaded "four Pinocchios" designation for lying from the Washington Post, which called out the Super PAC for its claims on Newt's involvement with the one-child policy, the historic nature of his ethics violations, and a taxpayer funding of abortion dig which is also demonstrably false.

Romney has absolved himself of having anything to do with the December Restore our Future ad, but if you don't think his campaign's fingerprints are all over it, just check out this screencap I grabbed recently.
