Suffolk University's new two-day tracking poll shows Rick Santorum making gains for four straight days in New Hampshire.
1. Mitt Romney 40%
2. Ron Paul 17%
3. Rick Santorum 11%
4. Newt Gingrich 9%
5. Jon Huntsman 8%
6. Rick Perry 1%
David Paleologos, director of the university's Political Research Center, says:
"Rick Santorum is the only candidate moving up in New Hampshire. He has cleared the Gingrich and Huntsman hurdles for third place, and is only 6% away from second place.
Watch out Ron Paul."
Second would be a terrific showing for Santorum, particularly if he could keep Romney below the 40% threshold.
