Toomey "disappointed" with Gingrich

In an interview with Scranton's WILK-FM, U.S. Sen. Pat Toomey chastises Newt Gingrich for "feeding into the liberal narrative" by attacking Bain.

"Fact is, Speaker Gingrich knows our dynamic system of opportunity creates far more jobs than are lost, and for him to attack private equity for focusing on those jobs are lost and ignoring the fact that many more are created is really feeding into the liberal narrative that is hostile to our free enterprise system. I was disappointed with him for that."

I'm not sure how much more Newt's going to mention the Bain thing. ABC's Jon Karl reports today that he'll be up soon with a "brutal" new ad, which hits Mitt for voting for Paul Tsongas in the '92 Democratic primary and accuses him of lying about his blind trust.

Neither of those sound like game-changers.
