Zeke Miller reports that the RNC has snubbed Jon Huntsman by disinvinting him to a ritzy, weekend event in Palm Beach
The former presidential candidate was slated to be a speaker at the "Regents" gathering of the party's fundraisers and politicians, but was informed he is no longer welcome at the event.
His sin: Calling for a third-party presidential candidate to enter the race.
I don't really blame the RNC. I mean, the Catholic church had to do something about Luther and P.J. Carlesimo had to do something about Latrell Sprewell (who was very good at the time), but still, it's never good to make enemies, and who knows what Huntsman has planned.
The thing that got Jon banned was probably these comments from Morning Joe last month.
"I think we're going to have problems politically until we get some sort of third party movement or some alternative voice out there that can put forward new ideas."
