Karl Rove's group, Crossroads, releases a new web ad, mocking Barack Obama's cool factor and juxtapositioning it against the sucky economy.
It's not a bad ad, but they probably spend about 10 seconds too many (total of 27 seconds) on the Obama celebrity stuff, because face it, Obama is pretty likable in the clips.
BUT, that being said, the transition to the harsh reality of the economy is powerful -- it just comes too late.
(Bonus: the ad already incorporates the Fallon appearance).
