A fascinating poll of likely voters from The Hill finds that 46% of women voters say Mitt Romney better understands their issues, while just 41% say the same about Barack Obama.
This certainly doesn't fit with the narrative that the majority of women are aghast by the GOP's alleged "war on women".
There was also a statistical tie when it came to which political party is better for women, with 42 percent of all voters saying Republicans and 41 percent Democrats.
And here's another interesting result.
More voters think Mitt Romney is respectful toward women who work outside the home than think Barack Obama is respectful toward women who work inside the home.
37% of likely voters think Obama respects women who choose to stay home, but 35% say he doesn't.
That's an unfavorable contrast to the 49% of likely voters who say Romney respects women who work outside the home and 27% who say he doesn't.
