Romney shoots down question on interracial marriage

Via TPM, here's Mitt Romney in Wisconsin today, shutting up a mischief-maker.




QUESTION: A lot of people say that your Mormon faith may not be a concern in the election, but I think it might be, as well as I found these verses from the Mormon book.

Moses 7:8 says....

ROMNEY: [Interrupting] Why don't you give me a question?

QUESTION: Okay, in the Mormon book, it says blackness came upon all the children of Canaan.

ROMNEY: I'm sorry. We're just not going to have a discussion about religion in my view, but if you have a question, I'd be happy to answer your question.

QUESTION: Do you think it's a sin for a white man to marry or procreate with a black?

ROMNEY: No. Next question.
