Liberal adman and Morning Joe regular, Donny Deutsch, says Mitt Romney's first TV ad of the general election season is a "very smart" way to introduce himself.
"I think the ad is so smart for one simple reason. People at their core are afraid of change, and if you look at every time we've moved from an incumbent, the only time is when things aren't dramatically bad, and they're really not dramatically bad now.
So you've got to start to make Romney less of an unknown. In a literal sense, say 'Day One, this is what happens.' Makes change easier.
Very smart ad."
Pretty good point.
The spot envisions what Romney would do on the first day of his presidency.
