It's not overwhelming, but according to a new ABC/Washington Post survey, 48% of Americans like Mitt Romney's plan to reduce federal tax rates to 20%, while 39% don't.
That's not surprising, considering that voters rarely protest having their taxes cut.
But ABC notes that the Romney plan's approval numbers are similar to favorability on some of Barack Obama's key issues. The auto bailout is at +7%, the stimulus at -1%, financial regulation at +5%.
