Obama keeps hammering Romney over Bain

The Hill's Alicia Cohn reports:

President Obama's campaign continues to hammer Mitt Romney over his record as CEO of Bain Capital, despite criticism over the weekend from a Democratic ally.

"We’re not challenging the virtues of the private equity business," Obama for American National Press Secretary Ben LaBolt said Monday on a conference call with reporters, echoing comments made by other officials in the campaign. "We're questioning what the values and lessons are from that experience."

But the campaign is under attack for what the Romney campaign calls an "attack on free enterprise," and some of the fire is coming from their side of the aisle.
